Memorial to Simba: May 2, 1994 - January 2, 2008

We have been blessed and honored to have had the most loving spirit in our family --- Simba, our chocolate Lab, our "one with the wagging tail."  Those of you who have visited us before know what we mean.  Simba passed away January 2, 2008.  We are all at once heartbroken at losing him, yet we are thankful that we got to share experiences with him for over 13 years.  Our prayers include thanks for the privilege of living with him during his life --- not to mention what he taught us about unconditional love. 

Simba has returned back to his home in Heaven.  Due to his experience and passion as our greeter in our B&B, Simba is now quite tenured and we visualize him greeting those arriving at St. Peter's gate.

Prior to leaving us, Simba gave his responsibilities to his friend Kali.  Kali is now learning the ropes and, she too, will be there to greet you when you arrive (... she will be in training awhile, though...)  The picture below is one taken of Kali and Simba in the summer of 2007.
